the wide open spaces, making it the perfect day out for all the
family.

The Gardens feature many beautiful and interesting plants with
something for everyone from the armchair gardener to the avid plant

grass labyrinth, Woodhenge, Super Steggy, for children of all ages
to discover.
We also have rescued chickens, a play area with a brilliant
climbing frame, indoor games such as giant connect 4 and dominoes,
explorer packs, and our fascinating Microsoft Surface Device - all
fun things that kids love. And we also have regular half term
and summer activities to keep the little (and not so little) ones
entertained during the school holidays, its always great fun and
even a little bit educational - check out our Whats On guide
for more details.
Add to that the excellent food and drink served in the Garden
Kitchen restuarant, our newly launched Gift Shop stocked with many
interesting, entertaining, stylish and delicious delights and
pocket money gifts for kids, and the many exhibitions that take
place in our Visitor Centre (with free wi-fi). However on
warm sunny days we recommend taking lunch outside on the picnic
benches or lawns (either pack a picnic to bring along or treat
yourselves to a Garden Kitchen created take out).
