No need to track down your ancestors, why not come to Ness this
Autumn and adopt a tree for your family? If you have a family event
to commemorate like a special birthday or wedding anniversary, or
just want a tree named for your family as an ethical family
Christmas present, here's your chance...
As part of the fiftieth anniversary of the Friends, fifty trees
were planted during National Tree Week (24-30 November 2012) to
create a small Anniversary Friends' Forest which will include
garden varieties including Sorbus 'Olympic Flame' with a few large
trees such as oak mixed in for longevity.
We are asking for a minimum donation of £50 and all proceeds
will go to the Friends of Ness Gardens fund. Your contribution to
the creation of this lasting legacy will be recorded in a
commemorative book.
