The deadline for entries to our annual photography
competition has been extended to 4pm Saturday 28th November
A last minute decision was made by the judges due to the good
weather conditions, brilliant sunsets and fabulous autumn displays
in the gardens. The annual competition is open to everybody
so either send in pictures of Ness you have already taken or pick
up your cameras and seek out the most striking autumn images of the
gardens you can find.
There are four categories for adults (17 or over on the
competition entry date) to enter; Plants, gardens, wildlife and
abstract. Children under 16 years old can enter the two Young
Photographers categories for free!
The prizes included free entry to the gardens for a year,
tuition with Garden Photography School's professional photographer
Michael Turner and signed wildlife prints by award winning wildlife
photographer Lesley Wood.
Last year's winners and runners were all exhibited at Ness
before a three month exhibition at the World Museum, Liverpool
details of the Ness Botanic Gardens Photography Competition and how
to enter can be found here.
