Friends seed list and coach trips announced

Every year, since 1970, a small team of volunteers collect, clean and pack over seeds from the gardens so members of the Friends of Ness Gardens can grow some of the plants they have admired at Ness in their own garden. The seeds are free, with members able to order up to 20 packets.

This year's seed list can be downloaded here, together with our free guide to seed sowing.

A further benefit of joining the Friends is an annual programme of days out to gardens across the UK, which this year includes trips to the new RHS flower show at Chatsworth and Harewood House set within 1,000 acres of parkland designed by Capability Brown.

This years days out programme including details of how to book can be seen here.

The seed list and coach trip programme are only two of many benefits of joining the Friends, which includes free entry to Ness all year round, with 80% of your membership gifted directly to Ness to support the Garden.

Memberships start from as little as £25. You can find out more about joining the Friends here.
