Ticket information and prices
Registered blind and partially-sighted visitors can enter for
free as can essential carers accompanying adult visitors (aged 17
and above) with a disability. Any visitor who is registered as
disabled can enter paying the concessionary rate. Please
notify the admissions staff when you buy your ticket.
Parking at Ness
All car parking at Ness Botanic Gardens is free. There
are eight extra wide disabled parking bays in our main car park
directly in front of the Visitors Centre (the right hand car park
as you drive in from the road). If these are full, please ask our
admissions staff if you required any extra assistance.
Getting around at Ness
Access to the gardens for disabled and pushchair users is shown
on our visitor map avaible from the admission desk allowing viewing
of many different parts of the garden. However due to
the topography of the site there will always be some areas which
will remain inaccessible to wheelchairs.
Wheelchairs and electric scooters are available to
pre-book, please contact us before your visit.

Please note that the scooters are provided to help visitors with
limited mobility who find it difficult to walk long distances, but
are otherwise able and have reasonable eyesight, reactions and hand
grasp. You are also welcome to bring your own scooter if it is a
pavement-use mobility scooter limited to 4mph.
There are approximately 200 benches sited around the garden at
Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of the
garden and buildings including the Visitor Centre.
You will find accessible toilet facilities in the Visitor Centre
and in the Gardens at the bottom of the Herbaceous Area.
