Christmas Weekend

Get into the festive spirit and join us for a weekend of family activities and entertainment!

Hot chocolates and roasted chestnuts will be served in the Garden Kitchen. Christmas lunch menus will be available too! The garden kiosk will be open too to serve hot drinks.


Sat 5th & Sun 6th, Reindeer Trail 11am-3pm 

Follow the reindeer trail to meet Father Christmas and receive an early Christmas gift!

Last entrance 2.30pm.

Sat 5th Sneezy Reindeer Christmas Show 1.30-2.30pm

We all know Rudolf has a red nose...but have you ever wondered why? Well perhaps he had a cold or the flu. Join Rudolf and Santa toind out about germs, what they are, how big they are, how they grow, and how we get them.

We will play with PlayDoh, make viruses, and even throw toilet rolls! The show finishes with some simple health messages to help the children keep themselves and their friends and family healthy over Christmas and the coming year.... all topped off with, what else, but a festive song.  

FREE ENTRY, but first come first served tickets available from 10.00am.

Sat 5th & Sun 6th, Children's Crafts, 12-3pm 

In the Hulme room, overlooking the gardens. 


Who is it suitable for?

Families - toddlers to 12 yr. olds

What does it cost?

Christmas trail - £2.50 per child includes garden admission and present.  

Christmas Crafts £1 per child.

Adults - Your normal garden admission applies.

Do I need to book a place?

No - just turn up on the day
