Coastal & Garden Wild Food Day

Sunday 27 May 2018 09:30 - Sunday 27 May 2018 16:30

This enjoyable course at the height of spring is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the many and varied wild food pleasures that the biodiverse habitats of the Wirral have to offer at this time of year.

This is a one day course on Sunday 27 May  9.30am-4.30pm

By focussing on distinct habitats, salt marsh, formal gardens and wild grassland areas, we will expect to see an astonishing variety of interesting, edible and delicious wild foods. The day will be spent in two distinct locations and will include an opportunity to review our finds of the day and sample a selection of the finest edible species.

Most of the session will be outdoors (weather permitting) so please come dressed in suitable clothing and footwear.
