Edible Mushroom Hunting Day
21 September 2014 09:30 - 21 September 2014 16:00
The grounds of Ness are rich with mature trees, grassland and
managed floral beds - a surprisingly rich habitat for finding fungi
- so expect to find a wide array of poisonous, edible, and even
incredible medicinal mushrooms. Last year's foray found in excess
of thirty excellent edible species!
The course will be introduced with some helpful theory and key
pointers for aiding correct identification of mushrooms, before we
head out for some serious foraging.
There will be more of the same after lunch before we finally

freshly harvested wild mushrooms cooked in a variety of ways.
