Herbaceous Perennials throughout the Year

Sunday 11 February 2018 14:30 - Sunday 11 February 2018 16:00

Start planning the improvements to your Garden to increase it's year round interest and colour with this illustrated talk about herbaceous perennials.

Traditionally thought of as adding interest just to summer borders. Perennials are often assumed to be high maintenance because of a few plants that need to be staked, deadheaded and pampered to look good.  Forget these misleading notions and discover the delights of herbaceous perennials which can be used all year round to add colour and structure, attract wildlife and are in fact very low maintenance.

About the speaker: Plantswomen Sue Beesley is the owner of Bluebell Cottage Gardens Nursery near Warrington, Cheshire which specializes in herbaceous perennials. She regularly exhibits at RHS Flowers shows, winning gold medals and is also a very good garden designer.
