If you haven't managed to get to the Gardens all year - now's
your chance, when entry is absolutely free to
The Gardens' founder A.K. Bulley shared his garden freely with
local residents. After he died his daughter Agnes Lois Bulley
bought her brother's share of the estate and donated the
entire estate to the University of Liverpool for us all to
enjoy. Celebrate that heritage today, Ness is taking part in
Heritage Open Days, a national event where 1,500 organisations open
their doors to over 3 million visitors.
To learn more about the rich history and beauty of the Gardens
there will be free guided tours starting outside the Visitor Centre
at 11am and 2pm. No need to book but please gather outside
the rear of the visitor centre 5-10 minutes before the walks are
due to start.
