The history and development of Plas Cadnant 'hidden' gardens and plans for the future

Sunday 25 March 2018 14:30 - Sunday 25 March 2018 16:00

Described as one of North Wales best kept secrets, discover the 'hidden' gardens of Plas Cadnant are situated on Isle of Anglesey near to the Menai Bridge.

In 1996, Anthony Tavenor bought the 200 acre Plas Cadnant Estate and work began on the restoration of the historic gardens. Since then large parts of the gardens have undergone a spectacular renaissance and restoration including the redicovery of three different gardens. An unusual walled garden with curving walls, a secret valley garden with waterfalls and river, and an woodland garden with stone outcrops and the remains of a 19th century folly.

About the speaker: Anthony Tavenor is the owner of Plas Cadnant Estate.
