New landscapes: meadows, native woodlands & ponds

04 December 2016 14:30 - 04 December 2016 16:00

This talk is a story about making new landscapes where man has destroyed or devalued existing valuable ecosystems. Often in urban settings, urban fringes or old industrial sites we can create lovely green places for people to enjoy and enhance their health and wellbeing. Meadows, woodlands and water features are part of the story.

About the speaker: Dr. Philip Putwain is an ecologist specialising in habitat restoration & Honorary Research Fellow at Liverpool University
