PropagationWho doesn't want plants for free?  With little bit of knowhow, plant propagation is easy and straight forward. This half day course will cover all the basics of propagation and show the best techniques to get the most successful results. 

Come and find out which plants can be propagated by division, layering, root cuttings, softwood, semi-ripe and hardwood stem cuttings.  Following demonstrations of the various techniques you will be given the chance to have a go yourself and take the results home with you.

Please bring a pair of secateurs if you have them.

This is a one day course on Saturday 16th August (10am-3pm)

Suitable for: 18+ all levels of ability.

There are no formal entry requirements; all you need is an interest in plants and gardening. Some of the session will be outdoors in the gardens (weather permitting) so please come dressed in suitable clothing and footwear.
