Sharpening for Woodcarving

Expert guidance from renowned wood carver John White for all those interested in keeping their carving tools sharp and in top condition.

This is a one day course on Saturday 1st April 10-4.30pm

It will cover the maintenance and sharpening of all shaped tools used in woodcarving. By the end of the day participants will be able to confidently identify and sharpen their own carving tools. Please note this is for carving tools only and not suitable for any other type of tools or knives.

Numbers are limited to ten participants in order to maximise one-to-one time with John during the day.


Who is it suitable for?

16+. There are no formal entry requirements and is suitable for all levels of ability.
