Spring Wild Food Day

This course is timed to meet the height of spring in all its glory, when the early green edible shoots are at their most tender, and the springtime mushrooms start to show themselves - so expect to find a wide array of wild delights.

This is a one day course on Sunday 15 April 9.30am-4.30pm

The majority of the day will be spent in the glorious grounds of Ness, foraging and getting to know the edible plants and fungi on display. The tail end of the day will be dedicated to reviewing our finds and cooking up the very best wild foods for sampling.

Some of the session will be outdoors in the gardens (weather permitting) so please come dressed in suitable clothing and footwear.

Who is it suitable for?

16+ all levels of ability. There are no formal entry requirements; all you need is an interest in plants & food!

What does it cost?

£50 (£45 Friends of Ness Gardens), includes lunch.
