The Friends of Ness Garden AGM

We are pleased to invite members of the Friends of Ness Gardens to the Annual General Meeting of the Society.

Along with the usual business matters of an AGM, we will have a presentation by two members of Ness Botanic Garden staff who are funded by the Friends - the Ken Hulme Student Bursary (Louise Emberson) and the Wilderness Technician (Jess Mehers) - on their work undertaken in the Garden.  Director of Ness Botanic Garden, Matthew Clough, will also give an overview of the wider capital developments and strategic plan for the Garden. 

Refreshments will be available after the meeting. 

The main business of the AGM will be to review the Annual Report and Financial Statements of the Society 1 November 2015 - 31 October 2016 and elect eligible Membersfor one vacancy and three  Board of Trustees positions up for retirement/re-election.

Please note that the deadlines for those interested in joining the Board of Trustees and for any motions for discussion at the AGM has passed.
