Bee Friendly Gardeners
07 May 2013 10:00 - 07 May 2013 12:30
Everybody associates the sight of bees buzzing from one flower
to the next with summer, but experts are warning these industrious
insects are under threat from a combination of changing weather
patterns, diseases, pests, and the loss of flower-rich, wild
habitats. Join us to find out what you can do to help in your
own garden to help protect these fascinating and vital insects.
Everybody welcome; all you need is an interest in plants and
gardening. Some of the session will be outdoors in the
gardens (weather permitting) so please come dressed in suitable
clothing and footwear.
