Summer has arrived with June 21st the longest day of the
year. Extra light and warmth means your garden will be
putting on an exuberant burst of growth. Are you new to
gardening and unsure what exactly you should be doing when? Or are
you a keen gardener wanting to improve your skills?
Let us help you with this whistle-stop tour of techniques, tips,
and advice on seasonal tasks from summer pruning of shrubs, lawns,
staking perennials and deadheading through to weed control,
what to do in the vegetable garden and
greenhouse.
Everybody welcome; all you need is an interest in plants and
gardening. Some of the session will be outdoors in the
gardens (weather permitting) so please come dressed in suitable
clothing and footwear.
